The logo was completed for a client a little while back. The multiple colors are to show multiple variations, these are just four color variations. The website was a template I designed in my spare time, this was just to show the company a potential "clean" look.

Experimenting with more website design. I am refreshing myself on design and the process that is involved to make a website functional (HTML/CSS). As of now, this website has a lot more work to be done, and changes to be made. To see the most recent process and construction of the site, check it out here.
When the user scrolls down, the top portion of the website follows, allowing for easy access to the contact button.

These panels were completed for a storyboarding class I took this spring semester. This post is just a glimpse at one of the projects we were required to complete during the course. The assignment was to create roughly around a thirty second storyboard pitch for a montage scene. We were to show time in a condensed period or a stylistic change to the story. At the end I totaled around fifty or so storyboard panels. My story was about a wandering snail who happens to come across a vibrant mushroom, eats it and continues his journey. The snail eventually realizes that the environment around him is changing, becoming geometric and colorful. Throughout the scene, he becomes fearful and tries to escape the threatening shapes. As for the end of the story, I will be posting up more work from my storyboarding class this semester.

This illustration is meant to capture an environment. Throughout the process of this illustration, I was trying to step away from the flat style I've had in my previous work, and attempted to take a different approach. I wanted to use a wide variety of color and work towards having a better understanding with color. There are a few minor things I would like to add and/or fix, as I plan to upload a revised version shortly.

I was digging through some old files of mine, trying to clean off my computer when I came across this image of a sculpture I did back in 2012 (spring semester of my sophomore year at Ringling College of Art and Design) for an illustration assignment. This was my very first attempt at sculpture, and accomplished what I had here in a week or two. Ever since then, I took interest in this art form, and have been trying to increase my knowledge in it. I would say I have come along way since then, only being a years time. For me, one of my favorite parts about this sculpture was the background elements, and the construction of everything.

This sculpture was used as a learning experience. Throughout the process I learned how to work with a hard sculpting wax for the first time. I found a recipe for a toy sculpting wax online, and decided I would give it a shot at making my own wax. Overall, everything turned out pretty okay for my first experience. Of course there is always room to improve, and I hope to continue experimenting with wax as a medium for sculpture.
The first image on this post is of a 3D model, done after the wax sculpture was roughly completed. These models were beneficial for doing quick color studies, and for possible future 3D printing.
Rough wax sculpt.
More process.
Sketching out ideas for a possible quick sculpt.
SATURDAY | APRIL 13 2013

This sculpture is still in the process of being completed. The sculpture was used for a open illustration project. I have been experimenting around with sculpture more lately and learning some new techniques. In the spare time that I have, I am working on adding poster designs to place on the windows of the sculpture, and more detail is being added to the overall design. I plan on adding piping to the building as well as a AC unit for the top of the roof. This might help break the shapes up a bit more. An updated version will be posted soon.
I created this typeface/logo for the signage on this project. It was first drawn out with pencil and paper, and later brought into the computer where it was vectorized in Adobe Illustrator. I then took the vector file and laser cut the type out of a piece of plywood. Clear gloss resin was poured in between the letters to hold them in place, along with the other elements of the sign. More detailing was done to further capture the sign's wooden appearance at a miniature scale.

This sculpture was based off of a character sketch I did during my fall semester at Ringling College of Art and Design. The sculpture was used for a rough three dimensional understanding of the character sketch. A basic armature was built to get the line of action in the character, and Chavant medium clay was later applied to block in the character.

Logo and Website Design for a made-up brand of wine. I came up with the concept of DIEZVIDA during a wine label project in an Illustration class sophomore year. DIEZVIDA translates to "10 Life". The name was meant to play off of the saying "Life after 10." My concept behind that was to make a wine for nighttime events, social gatherings, etc.

Illustration/Advertising Project. The objective of the project was to create an advertisement for an existing company through illustration. I chose to rebrand the company entirely along with creating an illustration that I thought would best suit their "new look". The idea was to make their logo appeal to not only children (being a children's vitamin) through a fun and creative way, but to also appeal to the parents of these children. This is because the parents would most likely be seen buying the product for their younger children.
The buildings, vehicles, and crane were all built by hand (sculpted out of foam board). The sculpture was photographed and then taken into photoshop. The background design along with all the graphics were all done in illustrator, which were later taken into photoshop to be worked in with the image of the buildings, vehicles, and crane.
More Gummi King! Below is more concept and development of my take on a new rebrand for Gummi King vitamins.
